We zijn in zomerse stemming op redactie van The Friday Move. Dat komt niet alleen door de vakantie die wij vanaf volgende week hebben, maar ook door Orange Grove. Zij treden vrijdag op in The Friday Move en op de redactie draaien wij de CD (Fingerprint) al helemaal grijs.

Watt a night!

Our "fingerprint" is here!!

We officially released it last Friday night in Rotterdam (Watt) and it couldn't have been any better.

The night started out with Santanero getting the crowd warmed up. They did great and I'm sure we will be asking them to do it again with us in the near future. We were now even more eager to take the stage and at around a quarter past ten it was finally our moment! We came out and kicked it off with 'feel that fire'. The crowd was stoked and we could feel the energy in the room! It felt extra special knowing we had people at the Sunset Bar on Sint Maarten also watching us. We were streaming it live to them (we had also tried doing the same on Curacao and Aruba but they experienced technical troubles on their sides).

It was great seeing everybody in the crowd feeling our new songs. Some people, who had the inside scoop on some of the new songs, already knew the lyrics and were singing along to songs we had never played on stage before. Every next song in the set seemed to get the crowd more excited. At the end we came back out to give an encore of 'you decide it' and 'feel that fire' for a second time. After that the fun continued when we called the contestants up on stage for the OG/Senor Peche Fingerprint Longboard give-away. It took a little bit longer than expected for somebody to finally land a kick-flip (maybe this had to do with the fact they were all pretty intoxicated) but soon enough a very happy Victor Tonk went home with the board.

In the end when the smoke had cleared...we did exactly what we had set out to do. We gave our "fingerprint" a nice warm welcome to the world. Its life has just begun and we want only the best for it! This was a great beginning...

Thanks to all who were there in the Watt and at the Sunset. We love you all and we can't wait to hear what you think of our baby!

Just Saw the CD

I am holding the cd in my hand and I have to say I am very proud of the new design. When I look at all the graphic elements, each has their own little story. I know every name of every print on the cover of the the album. The sailboat I used is a silhouette of Mr. Maidwell's boat, and in that I put some last minute prints of great friends and sponsors.

I feel great that we not only share our music with the world, but that a small part of the world is intergrated in our album.

So an affectionate thanks to everyone, and I mean EVERYONE who helped us realize this Album called "Fingerprint".
